Mr. Bogut serves as the Senior Energy Advisor for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Ukraine and oversees the energy security assistance to Ukraine. Previously, Mr. Bogut worked as the Senior Energy and Infrastructure advisor to USAID in Georgia. He worked in U.S. upstream petroleum energy sector, reservoir, drilling,production , international business development areas and has provided consulting in the energy sector and has experience in the U.S. Gulf Coast, Azerbaijan, Turkey, northern Iraq and south-east Asia. Mr. Bogut, has a Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering from Hacettepe University, Ankara, and a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Tulsa, Oklahoma
